Popular media figure Sheila Mwanyigha recently addressed rampant rumors surrounding her alleged pregnancy. The speculation began after she posted photographs on social media which displayed a slightly protruding belly, immediately capturing the attention of her fans who surmised she might be expecting.
In a recent video, Mwanyigha clarified the situation, stating that she is not pregnant, but expressed gratitude for the warm wishes and encouraging messages she received. She thanked her fans for their unwavering support and asked them to continue praying for her.
Mwanyigha underlined that although she appreciates the heartfelt sentiments, the time has not come for her to become a mother. “I see online everyone is sending congratulatory messages. Really, seriously? I know you want good things for me, guys, but keep praying for me. When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no. It is not yet time. I am gonna tell you what time it is,” she remarked in the video.
Last year, the accomplished media personality embarked on a transformative weight loss journey, which resulted in her shedding her signature curves. Mwanyigha later disclosed that the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent loss of loved ones, in conjunction with her own advancing age, prompted her pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.
“The second thing that gave me a wake-up call is that I am advancing in age. Not that I am an ancestor or anything, but you are just thinking that already my bandwidth of coping with things is faulty and life is not necessarily getting easier. But you have to get stronger,” she explained.
“How do you get stronger when the first thing you wake up in the morning is that you are tired? This was a warning bell, and I realized I could not fix the problem I was having with dieting,” Mwanyigha added.
