Over the last two decades, Singapore has become one of the leading destinations for foreign students. 18% of all students in Singapore are International students. When compared to other countries such as Australia, UK, Canada and US, Singapore is considerably less costly. A 2013 study by HSBC
found that foreign students spend an average of $24,000 per year on tuition fees and living costs.
This is much cheaper when compared to countries like Australia and the United States where international students incur over $35,000 per year.
