The Kenya Department of Film Services (KDFS) is mandated to license films as guided by the Film & Stage Play Act. All local filming agents and private production companies should submit applications through a local agent. These Local agents are registered by the KDFS under the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts.
It’s mandatory for all applicants in Kenya to enroll the services of local agents.
