Vincent Cheruiyot, former board director of the National Employment Authority (NEA), has been named its new chairman by Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Florence Koskey Bore.

Before his elevation, Cheruiyot held a pivotal role within the organization, directing the Human Resource and Finance board. As specified in a gazette notice issued on Monday, May 22, Cheruiyot’s term as chairman will span three years, commencing from May 23.

Cheruiyot’s appointment signals the end of Grace Cheserek’s leadership, who was appointed by previous Labour CS Simon Chelugui.
