Thinking of joining the Jubilee Party? Membership lets you vote in party elections, run for party positions and seek the party’s ticket. Here are the ways to sign up today.

How to Join Jubilee Party

Who Can Join

Jubilee membership is open to Kenyan citizens aged 18 and above. You can only belong to one political party at a time, so if you are already in another party you need to resign from it first.

Option 1: Through the Registrar of Political Parties (Quickest)

  1. Dial *509#, or use the ORPP self-service portal or eCitizen.
  2. Choose the option to join a party and select Jubilee Party.
  3. The party must approve your application before you appear in its register.

The ORPP charges only the normal subscriber fee (currently KES 1) for the USSD service. A party may charge its own membership fee as set in its constitution.

Option 2: Through Jubilee Party Channels

  1. Visit the official website, jubileeparty.ke, which links to the party’s membership portal at membership.jubileeparty.ke.
  2. Or visit a Jubilee Party office near you and ask to register as a member.
  3. Pay any membership fee the party asks for, through official party channels only.

Membership Fee

Jubilee has in the past charged a small fee for its membership card. Confirm the current fee with the party before paying.

Already in Another Party?

Check your status first with our guide: find out your political party membership status. You can resign from your current party via *509# or the ORPP online resignation service.

Benefits of Membership

Members can vote in party meetings and elections, seek election to party positions and seek the party’s nomination for county or national elective seats, subject to the party constitution and nomination rules.
