Job Websites for Finding Work in Kenya
Fact-checked on
In this article
Use a mix of job boards, recruitment firms and employers’ own careers pages when looking for work. These five websites provide relevant starting points; the list does not rank placement success or guarantee every advertised job.
Job-search websites
| Website | What it provides |
|---|---|
| BrighterMonday Kenya | Searchable vacancies and candidate applications |
| Corporate Staffing Services | Recruitment vacancies and career services |
| LinkedIn Jobs — Kenya | Job search with location and other filters; applications may continue on an employer’s site |
| MyJobMag Kenya | Kenyan vacancy listings across employers and sectors |
| Public Service Commission jobs portal | Applications for opportunities advertised through the Commission’s recruitment system |
Before applying
Check the employer’s identity, work location, requirements and closing date. Where an advert links to an employer’s careers page, compare the details there before submitting documents. Follow the application method in the actual advert rather than sending the same email everywhere.
Tailor your CV to the role and keep an application record. Avoid posting identity documents or private account information in public comments.
The Public Service Commission says it does not charge for its services, including job placements. Treat a request to pay someone to secure a PSC appointment as a reason to stop and verify the request through the Commission.
Tip: A vacancy appearing on a job board is not an offer of employment. Check the final employer and any proposed contract before committing money or travel.
