Need to see the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) in person? Most NTSA services, such as driving licences, logbook transfers and inspection bookings, are now done online on the NTSA eCitizen portal. But some jobs, like motor vehicle inspection or sorting out a stubborn record, still need a visit. Here is where to find NTSA offices and how to reach them.

NTSA Office Locations

NTSA Head Office

NTSA headquarters is at 316 Upper Hill Chambers, 2nd Ngong Avenue, Upper Hill, Nairobi. NTSA moved here from Hill Park Building in June 2021, so ignore older listings that still send you to Hill Park.

NTSA Regional Offices

These are the offices NTSA listed in its official contacts advisory of July 2026. Many of them are at Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) centres.

Town Physical location
Eldoret Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre, along Police Line Road
Kericho County Commissioner’s Compound, NTSA MVI Centre
Kisii Motor Vehicle Inspection Unit, along Kisii–Kilgoris Road
Kisumu Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre, along Airport Road

Nakuru Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre, along Nakuru–Ravine Road, near Show Ground Junction

If there is no NTSA office near you, go to the NTSA help desk at any Huduma Centre. See our list of Huduma Centre locations.

Before you travel, check whether your task can be done online. Driving licence renewals, smart DL applications, endorsements and vehicle transfers are all handled on the NTSA portal. See how to apply for a driving licence online and how to transfer a vehicle logbook.
